U3A is a lively association offering educational and leisure activities and the opportunity to use and contribute knowledge, skills and experiences and acquire new ones in an informal and friendly atmosphere.
Membership of a U3A is open to all in their third age, which is defined not by a particular age but by a period in life in which full time employment has ceased.
We meet on the first Wednesday of each month (September through to June) at 10.00 am at Plas Dolerw, Milford Road, Newtown when, a visit from a speaker or other activities take place.

Annual membership is £20.00 per person. Visitors are welcome to attend a meeting for an individual cost of £3.00.
